The short version: Wrap Times does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any server. Your data lives on your device and in your personal iCloud account — and nowhere else.
1. Data Collection
Wrap Times does not collect any personal information. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, crash reporting services, or any third-party SDKs that collect user data.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information
- Location data (GPS is used on-device only for mileage tracking and is never transmitted)
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- Crash logs or diagnostics
2. Data Storage
All data you enter into Wrap Times — including shifts, projects, clients, expenses, mileage trips, and profile information — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
If you subscribe to the Advanced tier and enable iCloud Sync, your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
- Accessible only to you through your Apple ID
- Not accessible to D-Arn Designs or any third party
- Synced only between devices signed into your iCloud account
3. Third-Party Services
Wrap Times uses the following Apple platform services only:
- StoreKit — for in-app subscription management (processed entirely by Apple)
- CloudKit — for iCloud sync between your devices (Advanced tier only)
- EventKit — for calendar integration (only when you enable calendar sync)
- MapKit / Core Location — for mileage tracking and location search (on-device only)
- UserNotifications — for shift reminders and clock-out alerts (local notifications only)
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data processing services. No data leaves your device or your iCloud account.
Apple's processing of your data through these services is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Subscriptions
Wrap Times offers optional subscriptions (Base and Advanced) managed entirely through Apple's App Store. Payment processing, receipt validation, and subscription management are handled by Apple. D-Arn Designs does not have access to your payment information.
5. Location Data
Wrap Times requests location access only for mileage tracking features. Location data is:
- Processed entirely on your device
- Stored locally as part of your mileage trip records
- Synced to your personal iCloud only if you enable iCloud Sync
- Never transmitted to D-Arn Designs or any third party
You can use Wrap Times without granting location access. Mileage features that require location will prompt you when needed.
Navigation Disclaimer: Wrap Times uses Apple MapKit for route guidance and mileage tracking. YOUR USE OF THIS REAL TIME ROUTE GUIDANCE APPLICATION IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. LOCATION DATA MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. GPS-recorded distances are estimates and may differ from actual odometer readings.
6. Calendar Access
If you enable calendar sync, Wrap Times reads and writes events to a calendar you choose on your device using Apple's EventKit framework. Calendar data is not transmitted to any external service.
7. Children's Privacy
Wrap Times is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Data Deletion
Since all data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud:
- Delete the app to remove all local data
- iCloud data can be managed through your device's Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage
- Within the app, you can delete individual projects, shifts, expenses, and other records at any time
- The "Reset Sync" feature in Settings creates a local backup and clears the local database
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
For California residents, this section provides additional information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your California Privacy Rights:
- Right to know what personal information we have collected
- Right to delete your personal information
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
- Right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights

10. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. For significant changes affecting your rights, we will provide notice through the App.
