Each project has its own rate rules. You set the overtime threshold (default 8 hours), double time threshold (default 12 hours), and multipliers. Wrap Times automatically splits your hours across tiers and calculates gross earnings. You can also enable custom tiers, golden time, 6th/7th day premiums, and weekly overtime.

Special Functions are rate rules common in the entertainment industry: meal penalties, short turnaround, 6th and 7th day premiums, minimum call guarantees, hours rounding, golden time, weekly overtime, contracted hours tracking, escalating penalties, and per diem. Enable them per project in Project Settings.

Yes. Wrap Times stores all data on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync (Advanced tier), your data syncs through your personal iCloud account — encrypted by Apple, accessible only to you. We don't run servers. We never see your data. Read our full Privacy Policy.

Go to Library → Unions and create a profile for your local with the quarterly hours threshold and fringe rates. Then assign the profile to your union clients. The app tracks your hours toward the H&W qualification threshold with a quarterly ring chart and projects when you'll qualify based on your current pace.

Yes. When adding an expense, tap Scan Receipt to use your camera, Choose from Library for existing photos, or Import File for PDFs. The app uses on-device OCR to automatically extract the vendor name, amount, and date — you confirm and it fills the form. All processing happens on your device, nothing is sent externally.

The Tax Snapshot in the Finances tab shows estimated federal, state, and self-employment tax based on your earnings and filing status. Set each client as W-2 or 1099 and the engine calculates accordingly. All amounts are estimates for planning — file with a CPA for accuracy.

Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device, find Wrap Times, and tap Cancel. Your data remains on your device. Features revert to the Free tier at the end of your billing period.

Yes. Everything works offline — clock in, track time, add expenses, generate reports. iCloud Sync requires connectivity, but your data is always available locally. The app shows a quiet "Offline" banner and syncs automatically when you reconnect.

Go to Settings > Wrap Times Full Backup to create a complete JSON backup. You can also export CSV reports for archival. If you have iCloud Sync enabled, your data is also backed up in your personal iCloud.

Base ($1.99/mo) gives you unlimited projects, clients, gross earnings, Special Functions, and PDF/CSV export. Advanced ($4.99/mo) adds iCloud sync across devices, scheduled shifts with calendar integration, mileage tracking with GPS, client reports, contracted hours, and client rate defaults.
